I've known about this film for quite some time, and evenwith the great sounding storyline I've sat on the fence with it for months now.. that is until I saw the new trailer. It provides something closer to the pounding incoherent fear which I imagined, caught between both the daily possibility of death and a world which no longer makes sense. Watch the trailer, you'll see what I mean. Nuit de Chien had it's theatrical release just a few days ago in France.
Santamaria train station at night. OSSORIO, a forty-year-old man, arrives exhausted with the crowd of refugees and defeated soldiers. He comes back to the city he knew to meet the woman he loves. But everything has changed. A violent militia terrorizes the city. Rival factions oppose. During the ultimate night, everyone tries to save their hide. Hopelessly.
