Sorry but I loved Crank. It felt like a giant middle finger to the MPAA and the mainstream film industry in general and it was just a bonus that it was also well made and exciting to watch. the big question now is; will directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor be able to pull it off again, not just with Crank 2, but with their upcoming scifi actioner Game.

Chelios faces a Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.

The first proper trailer for the film is after the break. It's not quite as NSFW as the promo reel we brought you last week, but it's still pretty intense so keep an eye out for the boss.

thats better. the explicit promo looked cheap as chips. this one has been all filmified. lovely.
