We first heard about The Horsemen from our pals at Dread Central who've been eagerly following its production for months. Well they've finally found the first domestic trailer for the film and, after watching it, it's clear now as to why they've been spreading the hype. The film looks impressive and has quite an original premise concerning the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!
The film is also directed by famed music video director Jonas Åkerlundshades so perhaps we shouldn't be too surprised that shades of Se7en run through the trailer. Fincher sort of cornered the market on thrillers after that film and The Game and since then it's been hard for directors to break the visual mold.
A recently widowed detective still grieving over his wife's death discovers a shocking connection between himself and the suspects in a serial killing spree linked to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
As good as it sounds, don't expect to The Horsemen in theaters. It's only getting a limited release in the US in March, so more than likely we'll all be seeing it on DVD. Thank God for big TVs!

It was such a good movie and I will be seeing this just from being a fan of it.
