Now here's a trailer that has me perplexed. Maybe it's the lack of English subs, but I can't for the life of me figure out if this is a parody, a straight up thriller, or a work of staggering genius. Because the film is Russian, there's also a serious lack of info out there that I can coherently put together for you. What I can tell you is that the film is opening Feb 12 '09 and that I really want to check it out. See if you can make sense of this:

What can be more terrible than the maniac killer on calculation of whom of 12 victims, and from the horror before which entire city does die out on last Friday of month? There can be, inspector, who converted his life and life of his close ones into hell in search of the killer? Or dear girl- victim? Film -[perevertysh], film- rebus. It is very terrible… It is terribly ridiculous!
