What is up with Collider? They keep getting all these exclusive clips for Sundance premierers. Are they pulling in favors or do they got dirt on someone? I don't know, but luckily, we get to enjoy a look at some of the more low-key material (which we love) out of Sundance even if it isn't a trailer.
Peter and Vandy stars Jason Ritter who was in the fantastic Good Dick which premierd at last years Sundance, along with Jess Wexler and is directed by first timer Jay DiPietro. Peter and Vandy is a love story told out of order. Set in Manhattan, the story shifts back and forth in time, juxtaposing Peter and Vandy's romantic beginnings with the twisted, manipulative, regular couple they become. The film explores the question most couples ask themselves... 'How the hell did we get this way?'

The Vicious Kind is directed by Leo Toland Krieger and stars the likes of Brittany Snow and Alex Frost (from Elephant, one of my favorite films) and has a bit of humor. Petulant by nature, Caleb Sinclaire reluctantly picks up his younger brother Peter at college and brings him and his new girlfriend Emma home for Thanksgiving. Caleb will not be joining them to celebrate, however, since he has not spoken to their father Donald in eight years. Peter is concerned that Donald and Emma may not get along, but is it Caleb’s behavior that puts her on edge. Having recently broken up with his girlfriend, Caleb is worried that Emma will break Peter’s heart, and yet he finds himself drawn to her. As Caleb's obsession with Emma grows, he must decide whether to act on his feelings or protect his brother’s.
