agentorange [Celluloid 02.13.09] post apocalyptic movie news horror

Drew Maxwell's upcoming post-apocalyptic film Dust hasn't even released a trailer and we're already getting word that he's already in post on a exciting sounding PA fantasy adventure called Ferocious. Check it:

In a post apocalyptic world ravaged by feuding warlords, a group of desperate soldiers hatch a plan to steal a Warlord’s treasure and start a new life. Faced with the threat of a horrific death at the hands of the Warlord’s executioners, the men escape into a desolate and forbidden land known only as the Shadowlands. Now the men must flee from the Warlord’s vicious assassins while defending themselves from the terrifying creatures that inhabit the Shadowlands.

No word yet on who's starring or what the budget is set at but since it's in production at Shoreline Entertainment I imagine it's fairly well funded. As usual we'll keep you posted.

UPDATE: Thanks to Quiet Earth tipster, Avery, we've got some early character concept art that was done by Drew Maxwell back when Ferocious was called Shadowlands. I wonder if they changed the title due to that movie about C.S. Lewis... images after the break.
