Triple Dog is a project I actually had some dealings with last year. An upcoming teen thriller that was produced with American money but filmed in Canada, the company I worked for (a social networking company that shall remain nameless) is mentioned a few times in the script and shown onscreen so, being a PR guy, I had to read the script and make sure we weren't being represented in any way that would get us into trouble. That was the extent of it really. I liked the script a lot. It was definitely pointed squarely at a tween demo but had an edge to it.

Long story longer, because of this "hands on" experience I've been keeping an eye on the production out of general curiosity. An official website just emerged with a teaser that unfortunately doesn't really show much (in fact if I remember correctly, it might just be the beginning of the film).

TRIPLE DOG takes place in a small suburban town, where six high school girls play a game of dare that careens out of control, altering their lives forever…

Between them, the young cast of Triple Dog have some pretty impressive credentials. Lead actress Scout Taylor Compton you might remember from Rob Zombie's Halloween remake while Brittany Robertson is coming off of Dan in Real Life with Steve Carell. Other cast members include The O.C.'s Janel Parrish, Alexia Fast from 4400 and Emily Tennant who was in Juno.

Please excuse the slightly low res quality of the images in the gallery below. I'm currently trying to get my hands on some better ones. Teaser also after the break!

I can't wait to see this! All I heard was that the script was AMAZING! The writer has a bright future whether this movie is a huge hit or not!
