Haven't seen the amazing Spanish plague thriller [REC] yet? Well first of all, shame on you for not at least picking up a R2 copy of the film, but you can always cheat by watching Quarentine which hits DVD this week and which was essentially a shot for shot remake and actually wasn't really too bad. It actually had a few more zombie moments which is always a good thing.

Anyway, Spanish creators Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza have been hard at work on a sequel for some time and apparently the first teaser for Rec 2 will be shown before Spanish screenings of Slumdog Millionaire. The film apparenlty starts a few hours after the end of the first film but that's all we really know about the film's storyline.

Spanish film site Aullidos got the exclusive on the teaser which is embedded after the break. I had a hell of a time getting it to play so hopefully it works for you all. If not, we'll be on the lookout for another. Thanks to our pal Johnny B over at DC for tracking this one down for us.

If this is anyway on par with the first film it will be glorious to behold. It was one of the few films to actually creep me out.
