The first teaser poster for Overture Films' update of George Romero's The Crazies dropped today and I must say I'm loving its less is more design. Its dark, stark and creepy as hell and makes me really want to see some footage.
The story revolves around the inhabitants of a small Kansas town who are beset by death and insanity after a plane crash lets loose a secret biological weapon into the water supply.
The film, starring Timothy Olyphant and Radha Mitchel, is due September 25th.

finally a remake I can really get behind. great idea that just didn't have the chops to do all it could have in the first try. I'm anxious to see this.

Ooh! I consider The Crazies to be a proto-28 Days Later. I'm with Sonaboy...very interested to see what happens with this. I did like the original, though.
