There's a moment in this promo reel for After the Fall where I thought "we're in Albert Pyun country here people." A futuristic soldier, covered in warpaint, fires a rocket from what looks like a robotic arm. How cool is that!
We know virtually nothing about the film's plot but steampunk cyber-soldiers, a band of rebel soldiers fighting for freedom in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, and a whole lot of 80s machismo makes Randolph Scott's an 80s style flick we're curious to see more from.
Within a nation turned wasteland. Hunted by an army of darkness. They would find the courage to fight for the future.
You can see the test footage after the break and it's worth it if you've always been looking for film that's like a cross between Cyborg, Nemesis, and Captain Power: Soldiers of the Future. Thanks to Mary Alice for pointing it out!
