Wondering how production is going on the Hughes brothers' big budget post-apocalyptic epic, Book of Eli, starring Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman? Well, based on these behind the scenes pics, it's in full swing with filming taking place in a large scale western style dusty border town.
The Book of Eli is A post-apocalyptic Western, in which a lone man fights his way across America in order to protect a sacred book that holds the secrets to saving humankind. Yes, it's very reminiscent of The Postman isn't it? It's also like another great PA flick we've talked a lot about on Quiet Earth called Freedom Deep.
After the break you'll find a bunch of behind the scenes images we found on whitemaountainwheels, a blog from some dude who was an extra or something. Book of Eli is due in theatres January 2010.
