The first teaser for Vadim Sokolovsky's Book of Masters ((Kniga masterov) has arrived and it's anything but your standard trailer. Not only is it chock full of whimsical Baron Munchausen charm but it takes the form of a pop-up book, switching from animation to live action.
The film is Disney's first attempt to infiltrate the Russian market which, as QE readers will know, is blowing up with genre fare right now. From what I can gather, the film is a mishmash of some of the country’s most famous fairy tales and characters.
The tone of this one is family funtimes so the teaser after the break is definitely SFW.
