The official website for Kengo Kaji's upcoming Samurai Princess (Samurai
purinsesu: gedô-hime) is now online. Unfortunately it's nothing more than a splash page displaying the film's new poster but we're excited by the film's story and relationship to Tokyo Gore Police director Yoshihiro Nishimura who did the special FX on Princess. Just Check out this crazy storyline:
The story takes place sometime, somewhere in a world during the Samurai era, where people live together with highly developed mechanical dolls. However,
excessively developed mechanical dolls start causing harm to the human
society, leading to ghastly bloodsheds happening all over the place. ¶
Under the circumstances, Kyoraku, a mad scientist, creates a female
ninja mechanical doll. Equipped with 11 types of built-in weapons, the
ninja doll, who will not die even if she is slashed by a sword or shot
by a gun, is virtually indestructible.
Describes as an "Erotic-grotesque action film" by the film's sales agent, CREi Inc., this one looks like one to watch.
Special thanks to the gomorrahizer for the heads up on this one.
