What can I say? After the likes of The Horseman, Acolytes, Lake Mungo, The Square, and the upcoming Beautiful and all sorts of other goodies coming out of Australia, I can say I'm pretty excited for the genre fare their spitting out. I wonder, will this revival of sorts get a name? Restraint will be having a small theatrical world premier in April followed by a national DVD release, and it's directed by newcomer David Denneen and stars Travis Fimmel, Teresa Palmer (The Grudge 2), and Stephen Moyer (True Blood). This looks like a straight up psychological thriller, so check er out!

A brutal crime is commited. Our murderous pair, Ron and Dale, seek a safe haven to hide out. But what they thought was an abandoned mansion is inhabited by a rich agoraphobic, Andrew, who becomes their hostage. Or does he? Who is the victim in this threesome? Whatever you think is right is wrong.

I saw this movie. It's fantastic! All three actors put out stellar performances. Stephen Moyer was creepy, Theresa Palmer showed great range in her role, Travis Fimmel was the sexy and heart-wrenching, bad boy. Travis is doing a fine job on A & E's "The Beast", with Patrick Swayzee, by the way.

Good to hear it's a solid film. Moyer seems to fit the role well.
