Pirates, afros, ninjas, the potted plant man, a mad scientist with a drug named soylent green, and of course, kung fu. What more could you ask for in a film? Yes, this is another film we've been clocking for quite a while and we just got word from director Glen Berry that the trailer has just dropped, and boy does it look spectacular. The only thing it's missing is some kung fu fighting, but this is a real rough cut for it's premier this weekend.
In 1972, a crack commando soldier was sent to prison by a military court for a crime he didn't commit. This man promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, he survives as a soldier of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help and if you can find him, maybe Kung Fu Joe can help.
