This is like an American indy set in Death Valley, except it's in Australia with aborigines. This is cinematographer Warwick Thornton's directorial debut and I don't know how I missed this in the Adelaide film fest lineup where it premiered.. but it's received some great buzz and you'll see why after checking out this dust-kicking, passing the time trailer.
Samson and Delilah's world is small- an isolated community in the Central Australian desert. When tragedy strikes they turn their backs on home and embark on a journey of survival. Lost, unwanted and alone they discover that life isn't always fair, but love never judges.
