agentorange [Celluloid 07.15.09] movie news scifi gallery

[Editor's note: Director Ivan Engler has told us we can expect the trailer at the end of this week or next week. Can't wait!]

Back in May, a tipster sent us some completed footage from Swiss scifi thriller, Cargo, with the instructions that it be strictly "off the record." Well, as difficult as it was to keep the goodness under warps we complied and only wrote about what we saw.

Director Ivan Engler has since been in touch to tell us that things are now moving extremely quickly on the production. 18 hour days, editors dropping dead from exhaustion, that kind of thing. He fully expects an explosion of Cargo-related material to be dropping in August but, until then, has passed along two new stills to indulge our desire for more deep-space horrors.

All of our CARGO stills are after the break. They have been taken directly from the finished film so they look glorious. They also showcase many more characters from the crew who, until now, we've only seen in orange, sub-zero jump suits.

Sweet ,a trailer by next week! I can't wait.
Finally going to see Moon this weekend, but this and Pandorum are also big on my list of upcoming space movies.
