We haven't talked much about Shane Acker's 9 for a while so I thought I'd let you knpw that Focus Features have just opened up a brand new site for the upcoming animated PA flick. If you poke around on it you'll learn all about the events that lead to the "great war" and earth's distruction from actor Elijah Wood who voices the movies titular character. There's even a little welcome message form the Hobbit (although it's a little stilted in delivery as though Elijah was forced to read it by some unseen goon).
9 opens wide on September 9, 2009 (yep, that 9.9.09).
