Sadly, I never heard of this film until Troma got in touch with us yesterday and let us know about the upcoming 25th anniversary DVD release. A shocking film which seems to have a touch of Lynch's Eraserhead, the story revolves around one day in the life of a post-Vietnam vet named Frankie who has a deformed baby, a nagging wife and junkie friends and it looks twisted and fantastic. I can't wait for my screener!

The new 2-disc hits streets on July 28th and includes:

- The original theatrical cut
- Giovinazzo’s never-before-seen Director’s Cut under the film’s original tile of American Nightmares
- Several of Giovinazzo’s ‘80s short films and music videos
- The all-new documentary Post-Traumatic which explores the effect of G's work on current transgressive filmmakers

You can pre-order it here.

Check out a newly cut trailer after the break!
