After weeks of conjecture, probing and just plain letting the rumors fly, a director has been locked down for Robert Rodriguez's Predators.

Nimród Antal, director of the subterranean fantasy thriller Kontroll and the tonally awkward yet sorta thrilling Vacancy will take the reins.

Personally, after the mediocrity of the AVP films (though AVP2 makes AVP look like a work of staggering genius), I don't know how much more I can take from this franchise. It seems like its been kicked to the curb and flogged like a dead horse. I hope it can be resurrected but I have little faith.

I am a hungarian student very proud, that Nimród Antal is starting make somekind of a carrier in hollywood. He is a good director, and i'm waiting for what he will (can/allowed to) do with this opportunity.
