quietearth [Celluloid 07.06.09] movie news horror

Production news for the Luis de la Madrid's (La Monja) directed, David Muñoz scripted horror flick has been around for a couple of months, but now Alluidos has the first teaser poster which isn't much, but it's something. From Filmax, the same production company behind [Rec], comes a flick about exorcism, hypnotism, and a hidden video camera.

Here's a translated synopsis:
Fear stalks the residents of High Cross. Recently, strange events have occurred at the site and rumors have started to emerge. The Hawkins are desperate. His daughter Suzy 15 years of deteriorating daily and all the medical tests you have done have not detected any disease. Something is consuming. The father Ellis Hawkins to visit every day to see his daughter. He makes every effort to be discreet, but you can not hide his concern. There is something that scares you. What happens in the sessions of hypnosis that made the father Ellis? To find out, Suzy hides a hidden camera in her room.

The film will explore the popular horror theme of exorcism, focusing on a young girl, Suzy, whose erratic behaviour forces her family to bring in a priest to try and resolve the problem through hypnosis. The disturbing results are recorded on a secret camera.
