After the disappointingly short teaser trailer they release a month or so back, I'm glad to see that AMC decided to share their entire 9 minute Comic Con preview withe the world this afternoon... and yep, "Rover" even makes an appearance!

Synopsis:
An update to the cult favorite series from the 1960s about a government agent who is kidnapped and sent to a remote island known as "the Village".

Even though the writers went an entirely new direction with the 6-part redux, it still has a real classic quality so I have complete faith that the show will be just as mysterious and twisted as the original. Jim Caviezel feels perfectly cast as 6 too. I just watched him in the Long Weekend remake (or "Nature's Grave" to us here in the states and Canada) last week and was reminded at how great he can be. Jericho's Lennie James even makes an appearance too, as a cabby-like character who might help 6, or be a red herring.

Preview after the break.

looks like fun.. but i hope it's not what it's suggesting.. that they're all memorywiped.. that wasn't the point of the original at all

also.. anyone else notice the logo?
the village seems to be run by the jeffers corporation? :)

user icon I was thinking the same thing about the memory wipe. I get the feeling it's all an experiment of some kind, but if it's that simple it'll just be boring.

Huge fan of the original, am very intrigued by this. Looks good, except for Jesus.
