While looking for more on Kitamura's English language remake of his cult classic Versus, I ran across a couple of pieces of concept art (one which looks like a comic page) done by Takashi Okazaki, the creator of Afro Samurai an news that it will also be turned into an animated TV series. Hopefully, it will also be done by Okazaki and get the same treatment Afro did as it was excellent. We don't have much more at this point, but I'm honestly looking forward to the animated series more then the remake!

There are 666 portals that connect this world to the other side. These are concealed from all human beings. One mortal has dreamed the ‘444th portal..,’ The forest of resurrection.’ Getting there evokes the wrath of the un-dead.
