Posted under: post apocalyptic movie trailer news America

Thanks to a special Myspace age-restricted release we now have the first footage of Scott Stewart's angels fighting demons in the apocalypse flick, Legion! So over-the-top it's awesome? Oh yeah, and some. Personally, I think it looks extremely fun with homages to all kinds of great films from Terminator to The Mist to other religious thrillers like Constantine and Gabriel.

Synosis:
After a terrifying Biblical apocalypse descends upon the world, a group of strangers stranded in a remote truck stop diner in the Southwest unwittingly become humanity's last line of defense when they discover the diner's young waitress is pregnant with the Messiah.

This isn't to say the trailer is perfect or anything. At over five minutes in length it's certainly far too long to be a effective teaser for the film. However, I still think there is potential for a fun action flick here.

Starring Dennis Quaid, Paul Bettany, Tyrese Gibson, Kate Walsh, Kevin Durand and Lucas Black. Teaser after the break.

I've actually been waiting for this one for awhile, but it appears that it will be another dumb-down Hollywood attempt at a PA film. Its a shame cause its plot is very interesting, yet it just looks campy. Lets hope The Road will change all of this

C'mon you guys! That Grandma scene is right out of Evil Dead!

Yes it's lug-headed and sure you can tell it'll start taking itself a little too seriously by the middle but I think it looks pretty fun.

I for one am ****ing stoked. I am not looking for people to be discussing Proust here, just some ass-kicking mayhem.

To much money thrown at a good idea.

It does look like it will be fun. But this trailer is really strangely edited. Did they just spoil Quaids death?? And the CGI doesn't look that great really. But as I said, it looks like fun.

uhh...NO THANK YOU. Such cheesy imagery - the guy walking through the cross-shaped hole in the wall (ugh), the old lady crawling on the ceiling (Let's hope no one's seen Exorcist III guys!) sigh...the "Apocalypse" fought with guns. Awesome. This looks like one aimed right at the NRA/WWF/FOX crowd fer a KICKASS TIME at the motion pic'tur house!!

Have the writers of this movie ever read a little book called THE BIBLE? This story isn't even remotely close what the apocalypse is about.

Saw this on Wednesday with friends, don't waste your time. An interesting premise ruined by slow moving plot and poorly directed action scenes and not enough action. Best wait for cable.
