movie trailer news action thriller 
I've been waiting to see Scott Mann's The Tournament forever... and ever. It's the story of a league of assassins that play a deadly game every seven years where the goal is to pick each other off and win the title of #1 assassin. Well our pals over at the Scott Adkins fan site scottadkinsfanz.co.uk have passed along a brilliant high quality trailer for the film and man, it's all guns, gadgets and kung-fu action. I seriously can't wait to check it out!
Synopsis:
Every seven years in an unsuspecting town, The Tournament takes place. A battle royale between 30 of the world's deadliest assassins. The last man standing receiving the $10,000,000 cash prize and the title of Worlds No 1, which itself carries the legendary million dollar a bullet price tag.
Starring a cast of Robert Carlyle, Kelly Hu, Ving Rhames, Scott Adkins, and Ian Somerhalder you know you're in for one hell of a wild ride.
Apparently, The Tournament is coming to DVD and Blue-Ray in Scandinavian countries on 01-12-2009. When we'll get a region 1 or 2 release is still up in the air.
