Man, the guys at Glass Eye Pix are going to be busy this year. It was only today that we reported on the release of Jim Mickle's promo-reel for the upcoming vampire apocalypse epic, Stake Land, and now we're hearing from 24fps that James Felix McKenney, director of the retro robot shakedown, Automatons, and the upcoming religious horror throwback, Satan Hates You, is also prepping a new creature feature for the production company called Hypothermia for release in 2010.

Once again, plot info's scarce but word is that Hypothermia's plot centres around two families in Maine, who go on an ice fishing trip and it looks like they catch more than they bargained for.

Teaser after the break.

I love how that contraption is just...well...I have no idea what it's supposed to be doing. And where did all that blood come from? Interesting...

I think that contraption is an ice fishing device. You drop your line in and rather than sitting around having to wait, that device raises the flag whenever something tugs on the line.

The blood is probably that of the fishermen who sent the device up.
