Directed by Mei Hu, it's the life story of the highly-influential Chinese philosopher, Confucius, starring none other then Chow Yun-Fat. There's no talking, but the production design looks amazing.

It's like the Chinese version of Dr. Zhivago. (and that was a beautiful snore-fest, too)

Finally, I am loving these movies! Red Cliff I and II did beautiful work putting the classic The Art of War on film, and now this ... what took them so long!?!!! I can't wait to see this movie! And I hope to see a movie on Lao Tzu as well!!!!

Considering the director didn't do anything and it was all done by Peter Pao himself, it's a pretty impressive turn out so far.
