Eva Green is doing more genre film (in addition to the incredible looking cloning love story Womb that we previously reported on), but this time it's apocalyptic! Starring opposite of Ewan McGregor, the film, tentatively titled The Last Word, is a story about two people who fall in love as the world begins to fall apart.

The script is penned by Kim Fupz Aakeson, who has a long history of relationship based dramas, and it's being directed by David Mackenzie who did the EXCELLENT Hallam Foe (or retitled: Mister Foe) and the less excellent Young Adam. As it's a European film, it has the usual smorgasboard of financiers and producers, so I won't go into all that, but it is being repped by TrustNordisk who have a penchant for very good film. Shooting starts this month in Glasgow.
