Can I get all the Edmonton readers in the house to say 'yeeaah!' *crickets*

Ah well, I know there are a few of you out there and to the rest of you, pay attention because the DEDfest boys are once again putting their little prairie town on the map.

The full list of sick flicks for Edmonton's premier horror festival, DEDfest, have just been confirmed and topping the list is the new one by he-who-shall- not-be-named, the man who defies the critics (and even punches a few) – Uwe Boll. His new film, the bloody revenge fantasy Rampage (review), is one of three new films getting Canadian premiers at the event. The others two are British horrcom, Lesbian Vampire Killers and the Thai slasher film Macabre (review)

Other notable additions to the festival include the buddy-buddy grave robbers-vs-the undead comedy I Sell the Dead (review), Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl (from the creators of Tokyo Gore Police) and Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated - actually another Canadian premier.

I went to the festival Last year and it was insane. People drank a ton of cheap beer and howled at some super fun horror, so this year I fully expect the same.

For more information on the festival visit DEDfest.com.
