It's nice to see DJ going off on his own and headlining an indie, especially one which looks as sweet as this. That is, until the sappy music towards the end of the trailer. Premiering at the upcoming Hollywood Film Festival, I know that Qualls can pull off something profound like Combat Shock, and I hope to see him in something like that one day, but this is a comedy. So I'm guessing there won't be any blood.
This story follows an agitated fast-food employee, Joe, who has reached his breaking point from being harassed and tormented by his boss. Finally on the last day of summer, Joe snaps and decides to take revenge, but his plans are disrupted when a quick glance from a beautiful girl catches his attention, leading him to kidnap her instead, changing both their lives forever.
