I have a feeling this Ballardian column will become a regular, as long as I can find enough psychological deviance to fill it. The film concerns a detective who becomes obsessed with a suicide case and assumes the deceased's identity. 9:06 just swept NINE awards at the Sloveninan Film Festival, including best film, best director, and best screenplay.
The story concerns a police inspector investigating an unusual case - the suspicious death of a man which appears to be suicide. The investigation turns into an obsession: the inspector secretly moves to the apartment of the deceased, delving deeper and deeper into his life and gradually assuming his identity.
