Posted under: post apocalyptic movie news short video

Animator and filmmaker Adam Brown created this stunning post-apocalyptic short as a graduate assignment when he was attending Ryerson University's film program. Called Starsearcher, the film follows the stop-motion adventure of Naomi and Robot.

The first thing you'll probably notice is how compelling the model work that makes up the setting is. Apparently a lot of it was made from styrofoam and was original created for Strata's music video for "Stay Young" which came out in 2007, I think.

Synopsis:
Naomi and Robot search the stars to find hope for a post-apocalyptic Earth.

Highly recommended if you've got a quiet ten minutes available. Thanks to postapokalipsa for the heads up.

Watch the entire short film after the break.

Pretty awesome but the mouth effects were distracting. With so much effort going into the modeling, the lips look bad.
