This isn't the first zombie flick to come out of Chile (see Solos [which I've seen]), Blind Dead is directed by Cristian Toledo and Lucio Rojas, two film school students, and was shot for under $2000US. Considering the low budget, it looks pretty dang good.

"Blind dead" is a movie located in Chile in a near future, in a place which could be anywhere. An epidemic have finished with the most part of people and a mission composed by five militars and two scientists must go to the zero-zone, closed years ago, for trying to find a cure to the sickness which convert people to an animal and wild state. But the trip to the zone will be full of setbacks which will put in danger the mission.

UPDATED: Added a lengthier trailer, but without subs.
