Narcolepsy is a b#tch. You never know when you’re going to fall asleep so things like driving and parties can be very strange not to mention dangerous but in some instances, they can also be salvations. Take for example, Scott. If he'd never met Nora, he'd never have the adventure and romance at the center Behn Fannin's Woke, a beautiful looking little film about the relationship that unfolds between a narcoleptic man and the woman that is sent to drive him to his childhood home.

The trailer for Fannin's film doesn't reveal much of the plot but it does provide a sense for his workmanship and the quality of the performances from Chris Gaede (who also co-wrote the script) and Caroline Macey, both of whom seem on the ball as far as acting is concerned. The trailer also suggests a bit of a mystery (what’s with the hole in the wall?) but not much else.

I love odd romances and this one certainly seems to fit the bill. Trailer after the break.
