Variety is reporting that Keith Arem, director of Activision Blizzard’s uber-popular video game "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2", is making his feature film debut with Frost Road, an apocalyptic actioner with a supernatural bent.

The film tell the story of a young man who awakens from a car accident to discover he is one of few survivors in the aftermath of a mysterious outbreak that's struck a small coast town on the East Coast. Somehow immune to the contagion, he tries to save the remaining survivors as he struggles to prevent the deadly wave from spreading across the planet.

Arem penned the script for the pic, and is also developing the project as a graphic novel with co-creator Brandon Humphreys, with Christopher Shy illustrating.
