Spanish director Rodrigo Cortés takes the one-room thriller to a whole new level with Buried a thriller that takes place entirely in a coffin while star Ryan Reynolds tries desperately to McGuyver his way out with a cell phone and a lighter.

It was just reported that Buried is getting it's premier at this year's Sundance film festival so we thought we'd share three posters for the film. One of this posters is official (the one you see to the right) and the other two are designs that were rejected, perhaps for obvious reasons. Personally I think they are amazing and are obviously aiming to give the thriller a 60s Hitchcock vibe.

Synopsis:
Paul is a U.S. contractor working in Iraq. After an attack by a group of Iraqis he wakes to find he is buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone it's a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap.

Anyway, we're looking for footage but until we dig some up, or someone out there scoops us with some, here is the first look at the poster for Buried.
