Large cocoons hanging from trees, a massive beating heart, and other nightmares await in this beautifully shot promo trailer. The filmmakers are currently looking for financing and hoping to shoot it this year with a 2011 release.
In Nightscape, three high school seniors are drawn into a world of living nightmares. Exposed to a frightening creature of unknown origin, the teens unexpectedly gain paranormal powers. As these powers grow and change the trio suspect they’ve become hapless pawns in a larger war between ancient forces of good and evil.

Like Trier's Antichrist, full of suggestive motifs and surreal atmosphere, reminds me somewhat of Dave McKean.
Indeed impressive, hope they keep the solemn and laconic tone.

The trailer is perfect up until the end when the really bad voice actors start speaking. Other than that I thought it was great.
