movie trailer news action dystopic We've been following this for a while, and while I can't really tell much from the trailer - which is cut more like a rapid-fire teaser - I'm still looking forward to the bloodshed.
The look of the film and the performaces all seem solid, which is a good sign for Revolver, considering this is their first feature production.
Shank is video director Mo Ali's first film and stars Adam Deacon (Kidulthood), Ashley “Bashy” Thomas and Kaya Scodelario (Skins).
Synopsis:
In a London of the future, the gap between rich and poor has grown to epic proportions and food has replaced drugs and guns as a priceless commodity. Junior (Kedar Williams- Sterling) and his gang the Paper Chaserz trade in ‘munchies’ but stay away from the territory disputes and the violence.
A tip off about a food delivery leads to a conflict with a rival gang and the death of one of their own. Now Junior has to decide whether to stay true to his principles or whether to drag them all into a quest for revenge that could get them killed.
Trailer after the break.

Ok... If I was 17 years old I think that this would be the coolest... Now I'm 40 and nah... But of course... I listen to Black Flag and don't get Slipknot... I'm old.

i thought this looked quite good to behin with. liked the idea of post apocalyptic britain however there's obviously no good message in this whatsoever. its simply exploiting the gang, low life culture we see all over the world, especially problematic at the moment in Britain.
for a film with similar theme but slightly better message watch '1 day' by penny woolcock.

That's quite a good trailer for what is ultimately going to be a pretty awful film.
