UPDATED: Logline, synopsis, and two new posters added.

Bleiblerg Entertainment Productions and Teo Ward productions bring us the sequel The Gene Generation: War of the Bloodlines, which will be written by our friend Pearry Reginald Teo.

Pearry told me that: "This one will be very dark. A hyper realistic / shooting documentary style and lots and lots of body modifications. We're shooting it mad max style, set in the badlands... outside the cities." Shooting will start in March with a completion date of September.

Logline:
Searching for a mysterious scientist who may hold the secret to life after death, Michelle encounters a gang of biopunks who want to use his technology to resurrect the Antichrist.

Synopsis:
Turning her back on her old life as a government assassin, Michelle takes on a new mission – to track down Rotor, a legendary scientist who may hold the secret to life after death so she can resurrect her beloved brother, Jackie.

Her journey takes her to the Badlands, the lawless fringes of society where isolated outposts are kept in check by nomadic bands of ninja-like Shadow Hunters. Raised among the Shadow Hunters is the beautiful and deadly Angelica, the mysterious girl who feels no pain. From the desert, a ruthless gang of genetically engineered bio-punks emerges, convinced that they are the incarnation of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Led by their visionary prophet, the Horsemen terrorize the Outposts, slaughter the Shadow Hunters and steal Rotor’s equipment, hoping to use his technology to resurrect the one they call the Beast – the Antichrist.

Drawn together by this common enemy, Michelle, Angelica and Rotor reluctantly join forces. Can they overcome their own differences and personal demons in time to stop the Horsemen from unleashing Hell on Earth?

That's a pretty wicked poster. Seems like a different visual take on the material from the first movie.

Definitely interested to see where this is going.

You took the story to an extreme and then some. Lots of visual potential. Look forward to it.

I bought and have watched the Original countless of times and I simply love it, I can't wait for this new installment to come to a whole to continue my collection growing, great job.

A 'darker' sequel? Wow. Now that's dark.. the first film was so dreadful it made my Betamax squeal with pleasurable pain as every single cyberpunk cliche ever known flashed before my bleeding eyes in an awesome display of awesomely bad dialog, budget basement SFX and Bai Ling's skinny (cute) ass. "A lot of potential" describes it well ;-) -Henry Swanson
