Our friend Chad will be working on his first short coming soon, and from the style I've seen (we discovered his work, not the other way around) I'm greatly looking forward to whatever it is he's doing. Chad says:

"[Thrall] will reclaim the [horror] genre, and bring American horror films back to the heights achieved in the 70s & 80s.

Thrall, the short film, will serve as an appetizer to showcase Rullman’s dark, eerie style and characters which are being developed for a feature-length screenplay. This suspenseful, chilling short will offer a glimpse of what’s to come and whet appetites for the feature.

Synopsis:
Battered and bruised, a woman awakes in a strange underground compound. She attempts to flee, only to discover that she has become a piece of a complex and mysterious puzzle. Hope for escape quickly fades as the situation becomes increasingly horrific.

Check out Chad's demo reel after the break. You can also help fund the project here.
