Originally called Ferocious, Dark Nemesis is artist/director Drew Maxwell's latest independent, green screen opus. His last film, Carnivorous has its fans and its detractors, but I like that Maxwell has the ambition to get his vision up on the screen in feature form, regardless of budget and I think a lot of the images in this trailer represent some of this hard work.
Synopsis:
In a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by feuding warlords, a group of desperate soldiers hatch a plan to steal a Warlord’s treasure and start a new life. Faced with the threat of a horrific death at the hands of the Warlord’s executioners, the men escape into a desolate and forbidden land known only as the Shadowlands. Now the men must flee from the Warlord’s vicious assassins while defending themselves from the terrifying creatures that inhabit the land.
Maxwell is also working on the post-apocalyptic film Dust, which last we heard was actually in negotiations to be made into a series (maybe). I have no idea at what stage that film is at, but we hope to see it soon.

I will pass on this, it looks as bad as his other stuff, this is like his 3rd or fourth film and he should have grown by now in talent, clearly not.
Maybe a new career is needed

Is a trailer suppose to leave you confused or wanting to see the movie? This baffles me.

Classic Slock!!! Wait till this movie lands in the discount dvd bin, or as I like to call it, "The Dumpster Diver Bin" at the dollar store to buy.

Looks rubbish but I'll still check it out (won't we all?)

This film looks awesome. I think he does amazing things with a low-budget! Go indie sci fi! Did you see guardians? It played at Shockerfest and was hella tight.

I'm gonna wait to actually SEE the film before passing judgement; yeah some of the VFX look low budget, but isn't that to be expected from low budget films? I doubt they thought it would turn out like Avatar, but it could be a fun film to eat some popcorn to; stop being haters and give artists a chance!!

Man this could be a fun movie! The flying creature things look wicked!

This looks cool! I really liked his other flix. They are low budget but so what, they are ambitious. His films are at least unique! Samurai-ish post-apocalyptic monster movie! Kick ass!

I'll see this. When does it come out?

Can't wait to see the film!! People with no budget should take serious lessons!

Saw this movie just now. Had to google it to see if it was meant to be a serious movie. The story sucked, the acting sucked, the effects sucked, the camera angles/lighting sucked. Some parts of the movie just didn't make sense (SPOILER) In the last fighting scene they where zooming in on this unused nuclear rocket, but it had no relevance what so ever! (SPOILER END)
But it's worth a watch. I for one laughed my ass off =)
