Yup, we're greatly looking forward to this one, and thanks to director Dick Maas we have permission to bring you the first footage, sans sound, from his upcoming Christmas themed horror. While it isn't much, you get to see the nice camerawork with the Red One, and man, am I excited.

Saint Nicholas is not the good-hearted children's friend as people think he is. In reality he is a cruel bloodthirsty bishop who, whenever there's a full moon on december 5, will try to slaughter as many children as possible.

Clip after the break.

I think this is the first film of Dick Maas that I'll going to like after a long, long time.

Sorry to say, but this is not a Christmas tale..
St. Nicolais has nothing to do with Christmas. When Dutch Colonists came to America, it slowly changed into a Christmas figure, known as the current Santa Claus. The Name comes from the Dutch Sinter Claes. We call Santa Claus 'Kerstman' which means Christmas Man.
Also, St. Nicolais 'presents eve' is on december 5th. After that, he goes back to Spain, where, according to the modern story, he lives with his helpers.
