Ok, I think this looks even better then Ong Bak 2. What do you think?

The legend of Ong Bak 3 begins after Tien (Tony Jaa) has lost his fighting skills and his beloved stepfather at the Garuda's Wing cliff from the raid led by Jom Rachan (Saranyu Wonggrajang). Tien is brought back to life with the help from Pim (Primrata Dechudom) as well as Mhen (Petchai Wongkamlao) and the Kana Khone villagers. Deep into the meditation taught by Phra Bua (Nirutti Sirijanya), Tien finally is able to achieve 'Nathayut'. His talents are put to the test again when his rivals including the Golden-Armored King's Guard (Supakorn 'Tok' Kijusuwan), the mysterious killers in black, and Bhuti Sangkha (Dan Chupong) return for the final massive showdown.

You do realize you have the poster and synopsis for the first Ong-Bak (2003) don't you? Different story, different characters, different time, different location.

But also awesome!

While Ong-Bak took place in modern Bangkok, Ong-Bak 2 is set around 400 years in the past, with Tony Jaa as an orphaned nobleman, raised by a gang of criminals.

In Ong-Bak 3, a direct sequel to Ong-Bak 2, he's survived somehow and is wrestling with his inner demons, trying to reconcile his past and seek redemption for his black-heartedness. Or something like that.

Looks like a blast.

Wait - i thought Ong bak 2 was the one where he was chasing after his pet elephant. Which one was that - that was kinda lame I didnt' finish it.

Arnold, that was The Protector (Tom Yum Goong). Had some decent action. Different story altogether and not related to Ong-Bak.

Supposedly these new Ong-Bak movies are sort-of prequels to the first one, delving into the origins of the MacGuffin Buddha head.
