Damned by Dawn is a slick indie project by the Australian Krypto Brothers. It's been getting good buzz and this trailer via the film's official website has me sold. Some great make-up FX, atmosphere and fast pacing make this feel like a winner.
Synopsis:
During a violent thunderstorm, a family is awoken by piercing shrieks which summon the dead to rise again. Their lives explode in a blood soaked fury as they battle malevolent spirits, whilst fighting to save their souls from eternal torment with... the Banshee.

Looks decent to me. Yeah the CG isn't great, but doesn't bother me too much.

Don't even bother to critique a film if all you can say is 'poor CG'. I can suspend my belief if the story is good and the characters likable. Stick to made for television movies if you enjoy bashing lousy material.
