I'm wondering if this was a different promo reel then what they had before based on the stills which were available, but alas, it doesn't matter. Someone fund this thing!

Year: 2070

The ancient prophecies of hell on earth came true with a vengeance at the end of the Age of Pisces when apocalyptic solar flares brought the modern world to its knees. With the ozone layer decimated, the sun penetrated land and sea. It got hot. Very hot. The rivers dried, the oceans turned to salt, and the Earth was showered with relentless fire. In the aftermath, a chain reaction of chaos engulfed the planet and mankind devoured everything. All that remained was The Last City, formerly the pinnacle of the modern world, now reduced to an urban graveyard of sand, ash and death. There were no days. No nights. Just an eternal burning crimson sky that scorched all hope into oblivion.

Looks like it is indeed the sales reel from a year ago. Man, this could be a rad twist on the PA genre - Similar in approach, but waaaay better than The Spirit.

What are they promoting? Just a car chase in deserted city with some anachronism thrown in. For comparison, the captivating Panic Attack! really provokes imagination (what are those robots? are they alien or something else? what they want? how it started? how it will end?) and it is no wonder that they secured a deal.

And how people survived without the eco-system? I hate when someone just tells me that "SOMEHOW people survived".

I'm sorry, but just that someone put effort is something, doesn't mean that this thing is good.

Sorry for hijacking the comments, but have you heard anything new about D4? You posted the trailer a while ago but I haven't heard anything since.

man these people can never come up with anything new! Man survives from earths almost destruction because of World War 3, the Sun heats up the world, there was some huge disaster...bla bla bla. That Trailer doesn't do enough to gain interest.
