quietearth [Celluloid 05.14.10] post apocalyptic movie trailer news scifi thriller

Currently seeking funding, this promo reel shot out of Washington looks pretty damn good for a mere $5k, and I love the premise. Almost Matrix in style, the world is decimated by aliens harvesting humans and only one group is left, protected by a sphere created out of human dna and advanced technology.

One woman must choose between saving her daughter, and saving the world in this post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller.

Promo reel after the break. Thanks to the Avery Mining Corp for the sweet find.

Acting leaves a bit to be desired. Premise-wise, I guess I would need some explanation as to why an alien race that consumed 21 billion humans would still be fussing over the small handful that's left in the Order.

I have to agree with million about all the fuss, one other thing is after 21 billion dead why is this guy so anxious to go kicking ass, maybe I’m missing something. One positive thing is this trailer unlike so may others tells you the premise and what the general problem is as to the flick. I don’t know first blush it leaves me cold.

hmm yea it's ok for a pilot but that's it.
It looks rather B-ish and the Aliens look rather silly like The Gimp in Pulp Fiction.

Could be good with a good director and good script.

21 billion and the Aliens need more food LOL that's stupid they need to redo that part of the story.

21 billion? How does that work out? That's more than three times the world's population.
