movie news puppets action comedy 
This really wasn't a popular sounding film according to all the bashing comments left on our first post on this last August, but too bad, I want to see it! Unfortunately I'll have to wait, but our own projectcyclops will be at the world premier at EIFF, and now, you can get a taste for yourself below. Nazis. Puppets. Smoke. Plastic. Yeah.
Kent, 1940. Our heroes, a group of villagers from a quiet part of the English South Coast, seem blissfully unaware of the impending doom that sits across the Channel. But Chris, a young farm worker, dreams of the chance to join the army and fight in exciting new lands rather than be stuck in the slow paced village life he has grown up in. His chance comes when the three top Nazis, the enormous Goering, the malnourished Goebbels and the scarily camp Himmler hatch a plan to invade England by drilling under the English Channel and into the heart of London.

This looks awesome! This is what every kid sitting in the dirt playing with his GI Joes is seeing in his mind. I'm going to bring my german paratrooper action figure and hold him up and go 'pew! pew!' at the screen through the whole thing.
