He's been talking it up for weeks, but now he's officially got the job. Seven Arts Pictures just put out a press release saying Splice/Cube director Vincenzo Natali will adapt William Gibson's Neuromancer. And it'll be an all-Canadian production.

I really hate to say this, but this film ain't gonna happen. Not as long as Peter Hoffman holds the rights. That guy is a total crook. Just ask Chris Cunningham, Joseph Kahn, and many, many other directors that we never heard about.

Hoffman is one of those nightmare types who uses filmmakers names, buys and sells companies with the leverage those names have, makes millions and never even makes the films. Total douche.

Sorry guys. I really want to see Vincenzo make this film, but this Hoffman is a phony. Fact.
