Thanks to the Brits at HeyUGuys, we've finally got a trailer for Paul Scheuring's The Experiment, starring Adrien Brody, Forest Whitaker, Clifton Collins Jr., Maggie Grace and many others. The film is a remake of Oliver Hirschbiegel's German film, "Das Experiment."
Synopsis:
26 men are chosen to participate in the roles of guards and prisoners in a psychological study that ultimately spirals out of control.
The direct-to-dvd/blu-ray remake is available September 21st 2010.

Wow I didn't know that the Germans did a film based off the Stanford Prison Experiment, let alone that a direct americanized DVD version was coming out.

This actually looks really good, and it has Adrien Brody in it (purrowr!). If you haven't seen the original film, you should. It's very good.

WHAT?!!! I LOVED Das Experiment - I watched it years ago and it is still fresh in my mind. It's very hard to forget. I can't wait for the remake, although I doubt it can touch the original.
