A lack of information on this production and the studio involved with it suggest that Fathouse Studio is simply a super talented young man with a dream to make a movie. If this concept teaser is any indication, we need to start up collections. Like right now.

The basics behind The Last Defender: looks like the world is under attack. Again. This time from giant robot looking things that look remarkably similar to Transformers (though I’m hopeful they’re more in the vein of the pods of “War of the Worlds”: large machines that house mysterious aliens). There isn’t much more to go on but it’s enough to get me excited. It’s reminiscent of District 9 (review) in that the trailer cuts footage of the robots in question with a news show, something which will likely put it at a disadvantage with some people claiming that it's a rip-off but man, it still shows promise and looks good enough for further development.

We hope to bring you more details on the project so stay tuned to this space for updates.

Trailer looks great! any plans to look at kickstarter for funding ? Some other fantasy movies trying out there to move fwd. All the best guys
